Finally, Famicom/NES game based on the biggest movie of 1997, James Cameron's Titanic, is available in English! For those who don't recall a tie-in game for this ever releasing, it's one of many strange 8-bit bootlegs that have come out of China.

You really don't need this graphical hack to make your way through the platfformer -- and if you've seen the movie, which I'm sure you have several times over, the story should be pretty clear -- but maybe the IPS patch will explain the game's haunted rug situation.

Pacnsacdave, who went through the trouble of translating this, explains, "I made this hack out of respect to all the old school gamers who appreciate the video games of the past, and are looking to play new NES games that can now be understood thanks to translation."

Now someone needs to focus on translating the Titanic 1912 RPG! And hack a chiptune version of Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" into both Titanic video games (yes, I wrote about the hack just so I could embed this).
