Make Your Own Machinarium Papercraft
October 20, 2010 8:00 AM | Eric Caoili

I've no idea why toy manufacturers haven't contacted Amanita Design to create a line of figures based on the charming robots in Machinarium yet; perhaps someone needs to pass along the acclaimed adventure game to those companies' executives?
Anyway, while we wait for someone to make Machinarium toys a reality, we can allay our appetites for that meal with a papercraft model of the game's hero Josef. This awesome creation comes from Thai artist Nogs, who also created a neat base for his work (see after the break).
You can download the Jose model, along with photo guide for assembling it, on this page. If you work at a toy manufacturer and make decisions about what your company produces, you can buy Machinarium for Windows/Mac/Linux here -- a WiiWare version is also forthcoming.

I found the original sheets lacking, there were some tabs missing that they did show on the guide. So I just went ahead and updated the sheets a bit.
I've uploaded it to Rapidshare. http://rapidshare.com/files/450111317/Machinarium_updated_sheets.pdf
Fair warning: the model has a lot of very small tabs.
