The OC ReMix community has just unleashed their 27th official release, which pays tribute to Mega Man 9. "Back In Blue!" is the brainchild of OCReMix member and musician for the upcoming Cave Story 3D, Dustin "k-wix" Kulwicki, and features 18 different arrangements by 14 artists.

It's actually one of the community's best overall efforts in recent memory, enough to make me interested in re-exploring the game. I'm assuming that others are just as unfamiliar with its music, due to the extreme difficulty. To download the album, which like all their releases is totally free, simply hit the homepage.

In other Mega Man news, some might recall the Q&A with long-time employee of Capcom, Naoya "TOM-PON" Tomita, a man who was there for the very beginning (and who was even working on the ill-fated Mega Man Legends 3). Well, parts three through six have been translated at last.

Topics covered include why he's blue to being with, the truth behind the mecha dragon boss from Mega Man 2, why Tomita himself believes part 2 is the pinnacle of the series, and more. Hopefully the final installment will come soon enough.
