As noted, Hideo Kojima decided to skip out on E3 last week, but he's not the only one. So did Team Ico frontman Fumito Ueda. And much like the Kojima Productions frontman, Ueda is also a Twitter user; while rummaging through some old files, he came across what you see above and took a Twitpic for the world to see.

And what are we looking at exactly? The unused ending for Shadow of the Colossus in storyboard format. It's hard to tell what's going on, and Ueda has yet to provide an explanation. All we know is how it was the original closer at a certain point, one that he ultimately grew to dislike. Hence the decision to scrap it for something else, which is what we got in the end.

Perhaps what we see above was a dramatic difference, or simply minute, such as alternate camera angles and the like. One can only hope that we learn more, perhaps in the form of extra, behind the scenes content, in the upcoming Ico and Shadow of the Colossus: The Collection.
