I'm very sorry, but Great Little War Game is not a well-designed game. This breaks my heart to report because I LOVE the kind of game that it is and I was very excited to see a game like that on Android.
There are a lot of small problems with the design, but the biggest one, by far, is that there isn't "Summoning Sickness". So you have the enemy base cornered, beaten, but every turn they spawn a full-health dude and kill one of your guys. Turns the end of the game into a long, dumb grind. And no, you can't occupy the spawn-spot a la Advance Wars - it won't let you.

So it's a crap game if it's not an exact AW clone?
I love the things that have been done here to keep the speed of the game up. No summoning sickness means you can punt out a load of your own units also.
