Like Tokimeki Memorial before it, Konami's DS dating sim Love Plus was a top seller in Japan for months after its initial release. Though the in-game relationships are demanding, players formed tight bonds with the characters -- devoted fans baked birthday cakes for their virtual sweethearts, and one happy human/AI couple decided to get married.

Neither Love Plus nor its (awfully named) expansion Love Plus+ were ever released outside of Japan, but a recently completed unofficial translation patch renders the game fully playable in English.

While the patch has lingering issues and some graphical elements remain in Japanese, all dialog for the game's three potential girlfriends has been completely translated. Score one for chaste virtual romance!
