HG101's Derboo announced that a v0.9 English patch is now available for Mirinae Software's 1995 DOS RPG Mangguk Jeon'gi (망국전기, Romance of The Forgotten Kingdom) -- a release that he claims is "the first fully playable fan translation of a Korean RPG."

Derboo admits ROTK is "a flawed game with lots of QA issues and the writing isn't that hot", and there are some untranslated bits, but the release is still a significant accomplishment, and you should be able to completely play through this public beta.

He also says it's extremely difficult to get a hold of ROTK legitimately, as its developer and publisher no longer exist, but the game's director Kim Kyongsoo has allegedly said that he doesn't mind people getting it through other channels. Grab the patch here!
