Anuman Teases PC, iOS Remake Of C64 Fighting Game Barbarian

If you grew up owning a Commodore 64, you may be familiar with Palace Software's Barbarian: The Ultimate Warrior, a fairly popular one-on-one fighting game that was also released for the Amstrad CPC, the Amiga, and other computer platforms in 1987. Anuman Interactive announced that it plans to release a Barbarian remake for PC, Mac, iPhone, and iPad platforms later this year.
No further details regarding the remake have been revealed -- here's hoping that it at least looks better than this freeware nightmare from 2008! Anuman's Barbarian will debut on December 5th, with an Android version set to launch in 2012.

Barbarian I (aka Death Sword) already had a PC port back in the day, as did Barbarian II (aka Axe of Rage).
Also, what's the deal with the Interplay logo being at the end of the video?
