For those wondering what Gaijin Games has been up to, now that the Bit.Trip saga is complete, their latest project has finally been revealed. And get ready for this: it's another Bit.Trip game! Not only that, but it's also a sequel to the fourth title in series.

Bit Trip Presents: Runner 2, Future Legend of Rhythm Alien might seem a tad bit disappointing to those wanting something different, especially if one wasn't particularly fond of Runner (I'm more of a Void fanatic myself), but at least the blog indicates a totally wild art direction.

Plus, many will indeed be ecstatic because Runner, I'm guessing, was the most popular of the bunch. Hence the sequel. So it only makes sense to also address an audience that's been devoid of any Bit.Trip goodness at all thus far, aka Xbox 360 and PS3 users.

It's also encouraging to see Alex Neuse and company have so much fun behind the scenes, as the video above (which was produced by Area 5) demonstrates.
