Whenever I see a pinball game coming out for a Nintendo platform, like Zen Studios' upcoming Zen Pinball 3D for the eShop, I think to myself, "I wonder what those dudes who made Metroid Prime Pinball are working on right now? They make some pretty rad pinball video games."

Those dudes are Silverball Studios, and they've also released titles like Mario Pinball for GBA and Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon for DSiWare. They're latest pinball game, though, isn't for Nintendo -- it's Frogger Pinball, published by Konami or iOS devices.

The game features three different tables (Swamp, City, and Space) with four enemy types each, Story and Challenge modes, power-ups that you unlock by collecting Eco Energy drops from enemies, and Game Center support for leaderboards.

Frogger Pinball is only $1.99 (with in-app transactions to buy upgrades), and has a Lite version available with just the Swamp Stage Challenge Mode, too. I haven't played it yet, but if it's anything like Silverball Studios' other pinball titles, this is sure to be quality.
