Wouldn't it be pretty wicked if you were at an outdoor concert, and there was this huge Space Invader on the stage that also acted as a visualization prop? Yeah, it would be, and here's proof from an electronic party at Bogota in Columbia this past summer!

Optikal Ink Lab's Laura Ramirez came up with this idea to have a huge Invader on the stage at the Festival De Verano Bogota 2011 serving "as a multi-projectable surface to create optical illusions, and at the same time as a stage that displays the DJ inside".

You can see it's construction --  some 180 workers building it over the course of ten days -- and how fantastic it looked later that night during the show. Event organizers in North America, please steal this idea.
