Discovery Bay Games has announced that its Atari-branded iPad arcade setup, the Duo Powered, is now available to buy for $59.99 at the company's web site and Target stores (, Apple's retail locations, and Toys R Us will begin carrying it next month, too).

Like ThinkGeek's own iCade machine, this device launches with support for the Atari's Greatest Hits app, which comes with a free copy of Missile Command, and allows users to purchase individual games and bundles that include seminal titles like Asteroids and Centipede.

And while it's not as slick looking as the iCade and has half the number of buttons, the Duo Powered has the advantage of being $30 cheaper, and it's a hard-wired dock designed to provide a more accurate and speedy response than the wireless connection in ThinkGeek's tabletop.
