I was won over by Tokyo Jungle as soon as I heard its concept: lead packs of animals as they fight for survival in a post-apocalyptic, deserted Tokyo. All the animals you can play as and fight added to my excitement: pomeranian dos, cheetahs, hyenas, lions, T-rexes, cheetahs, etc.

And then this new Tokyo Game Show trailer comes out (the good stuff, which there is a lot of, doesn't start until a minute in), and this thing looks like the PS3 game I was born to play. Look at that dog with his boss outfit at 1:03. LOOK AT HIM. That is my dude right there.

Add a single-file line of pigs navigating obstacles, tiny chicks trying to get around unnoticed, a kangaroo punching tigers, dogs ruining a hippo's day, and a pack of beagles getting mad rutty? PlayStation C.A.M.P. and Crispy's have co-developed a masterpiece.

There's no firm Japanese release date that I've seen other than 2011, and SCEA has yet to announce whether Tokyo Jungle is coming to the States.
