Babycastles in Williamsburg/NYC will hold a F%!K THE SCREEN event tonight featuring "a collection of highly physical videogame installations", highlighting titles that "deliberately make it awkward to see the screen, as well as games that get rid of screens entirely!"

Along with premiering new and newly adapted games rom Bennett Foddy like Pole Riders, Robo-QWOP, and Mega-GIRP, the party will introduce Douglas Wilson's Beacons of Hope, a Move-controlled "horror-slapstick game" for up to 10 people.

Also at the event: Wilson's "no-graphics, music-based, physical jousting game" Johann Sebastian Joust, Kaho Abe's Hit Me, and Matt Parker's Duello. There will be performances from Knife City (!), Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt, Extreme Animals, and GDFX, too.

The all ages event opens its doors at 6PM, and you can get in for just $5 (instead of $10) if you show up before 7PM. You can RSVP for the show and find out more info about the games on its Facebook event page.
