The other XBLA/PSN game Grashopper is showing off this week at Gamescom, besides Sine Mora, is a newly announced, internally developed (with input from Digital Reality) 2D action platformer called Black Knight Sword, due to hit digital platforms early next year.

In the video above, veteran Silent Hill producer and now Grasshopper composer Akira Yamaoka shows of the new title's picture book-style aesthetic, calling it a "throwback to the old-school classic sidescrolling action games" with a very nostalgic feel.

"It's a blend of old meets new, classic meets fresh," explained the studio, according to a report from Digital Spy. "This is a side-scrolling action title inspired by Japanese theatre drama. It's also a modern interpretation of a picture book-type game, with old-school action gameplay."
