Austin's monthly indie/gaming meet-up Juegos Rancheros convenes this Sunday, and you're invited to learn more about upcoming efforts for the "Texatron initiative", which will bring Torontron/Winnitron-style indendent game arcade machines to the area.

Infinite Ammo's Alec Holowka (Aquaria/Marian), one of the makers of Winnipeg's Winnitron 1000 cabinet, is the special guest for the free event located at The Highball, and he'll talk about the plans in place for expanding the Winnitron Indie Game Network to Austin.

Attendees will have a chance to play games featured on Winnitron machines, including Messhof's IGF award-winning two-player fencing title Nidhogg, and exclusive two-player versions of Vlambeer's Super Crate Box and Semi Secret's Canabalt.

You can RSVP on Facebook and find more information here. Don't forget to bring your 3DS for StreetPasses!
