Believe it or not, this Spanish-language version of Namco's PS1-era light gun shooter Time Crisis isn't a professional localization. It's actually a high-quality fan translation effort released this week by IlDucci.
IlDucci's Time Crisis patch translates all text and dubs every single bit of voiced dialog, from enemy barks to cutscene conversations. You may not realize it, but Time Crisis contains quite a lot of voicework -- enough to require seven different voice actors for the Spanish dub.
It's an impressive effort, and it beats the pants off of the corny English version, both in terms of sound quality and acting ability. Check out the original version of the intro after the break, if you need a reminder of just how silly it was. ¡Acción!
