First spotted on Ray Barnholt's (of SCROLL fame) Twitter, and later on Kotaku, is word of 99-year-old "Mrs. Umeji", who has been able to keep her mind and reflexes sharp with the help of Bomberman. Every single days she plays the Famicon version for several hours, and has done so for the past 26 years.

The Japanese news program in which she was featured demonstrated Umeji clearing the final 50th stage with ease. Apparently it takes her about two and half hours to clear the game, and when she's in the zone, she'll take the game down twice. And the reason for all this? Simple: "Playing Famicom keeps me from going senile."
