Launched 39 years ago, Ralph Baer's Magnavox Odyssey, recognized by many as the first home video game console, hasn't received too many new games in the last several decades, so news of an original homebrew release for the system is pretty exciting!

Atari2600land has created a new game called Dodgeball that uses the Odyssey's #3 cart -- the console used various carts that offered multiple games, all based on the cart's game logic but played with different overlays and instructions.

You can preorder Dodgeball now, with $20 Standard and $25 Deluxe editions, both including an 8.5 x 11-inch overlay, an instruction sheet, and 10 score sheets. Both versions are identical except the Deluxe one includes a box to pack everything in.
