With EVO 2K11, the world's premiere fighting video game tournament event, kicking off today, I am beginning my tradition of watching livestream matches and looking up videos for games I've spent maybe 20 minutes total thinking about during the rest of the year.

For instance, I meant to watch this new show, "The Excellent Asian Adventures of Xian and Zhi", only for a few minutes -- especially after the extended ad and cringeworthy Dragonball fusion segment at the beginning.

But this mix of EVO hype, the entertaining banter between the hosts, footage of high-level Super Street Fighter IV play, and seeing these two guys "troll" some of Japan's best players on Xbox Live Arcade ended up eating a half hour of my morning.

At one point, Xian even beats a dude playing with just one hand on his arcade stick! Apparently, this show is based on The Excellent Adventures of Gootecks and Mike Ross, a similar program hosted by equally alented SSFIV players Gootecks and Mike Ross.
