BBC Documentary Captures the Fall of Imagine Software

This may be somewhat old -- 27 years old, to be exact -- but it's an interesting bit of history that I'd never seen before. This BBC documentary captures the rise and fall of developer Imagine Software during a competitive time for the computer game development industry in the UK.
The video explores the "TT bike teams and big houses" that accompanied industry success in the early '80s, and documents Ocean's hiring process for amateur creators, leading to the publication of games like Pud Pud in Weird World. Remarkably, the camera also documents Imagine's spectacular self-destruction as it happens, with dramatic results.

I worked on a book based on the rise and fall of Imagine - had dealings with the founders and developers - a very interesting story that has links even to this day and the decline in current consumer publishers.
