Behind all the pretty graphics in every game is just lines and lines of boring code. Nothing but letters and numbers, lots of it. So what better way to illustrate something so banal than Media Molecule's LittleBigPlanet 2 Code Swarm?
Even I'm not 100 percent of what's going on, but from what I can gather, it shows all the programmers on LBP2 and their workflow. One person writes something, which then gets whisked away to another person, and soon information is going back and forth at a rapid pace. Sometimes one person will be everything at once, the collective sum of everyone else's work, which then gets dispersed yet again.
Things get particularly exciting as the project nears its end, with colorful glowing balls flying all over the place! Which then dies down as last minute tweaks are made. Who knew such a process could be so visual engaging? Though the LBP music also helps.
