Continuing to promote its software and fine arts, Nintendo has launched a new campaign for Art Academy, its drawing and painting game released last year, in Britain. Not many companies continue to push a title 7-9 months after its release!

The "Create Britain" campaign is touring the United Kingdom by offering free art master classes presented with Nintendo DSi XLs and copies of Art Academy, and "open to all abilities and levels of art interest."

Nintendo kicked off the tour in London last week with a class led by contemporary British artist Pam Glew, who offered guidance to attendees on re-creating one of Canaletto’s iconic paintings of Westminster Bridge with Art Academy.

Over the next month, the Create Britain tour will visit Cardiff, Gateshead, Birmingham, Manchester, and Scotland. You can find more info on the campaign at Nintendo UK's site.
