Giant Robot has posted two samples of works that will be appearing at Game Over IV, its art show about "the continuous evolution of videogames and their massive influence on popular culture," which opens in San Francisco on March 4 just as the Game Developers Conference winds down.

The first poster shown above is from Cory Schmitz of EXP zine fame, shedding "a few tears for the amazing but short-lived Sega Saturn". The other artwork, which is just past the break, is a Tetris tribute from Hilary Florido, the talented illustrator behind the awesome Babycastles shoujo manga arcade cabinet.

Again, Game Over IV will run at Giant Robot's SF shop/gallery until March 30 and feature works from over 50 contributors, including talented folks like Derek Yu (Spelunky), Calvin Wong, Matt Furie, Jude Buffum, Kinuko, Mare Odomo, and Superbrothers. You can RSVP for the event here!
