In addition to its promising chiptune showcase and attractions, the annual four-day Music And Gaming Festival (MAGFest) will hold a charity auction next week to raise money for Child's Play, the Penny Arcade-founded non-profit dedicated to donating toys and games to children's hospitals.
Some of the items MAGFest will auction off include:
- Distant Worlds CDs and Posters signed by famous Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu and conductor Arnie Roth
- a copy of Civilization V signed by the development team and Sid Meier
- a Rock Band 3 keytar bundle signed by the bands performing at MAGFest
- a Rock Band 3 Pro Guitar signed by the bands performing at MAGFest
You can preregister for and learn more about MAGFest -- which features "4-hour console, arcade, and PC game rooms, over ten live video game cover bands, a vendors area, guest speakers from the video game industry and fan scene", and more -- at the event's official site.
