Giant Robot Los Angeles has a very special Christmas event planned for its fourth Game Night get-together this weekend! For those unfamiliar with the bimonthly Game Nights, it's a free and fun party showcasing mostly indie titles and inviting people to play games in "a relaxed, community-building setting."

In conjunction with video game culture shop Attract Mode and t-shirt design collective Meat Bun, this upcoming Game Night will feature:

  • An X-mas edition of Vlambeer's hit indie game Super Crate Box made exclusively for Game Night
  • Arthur Lee's Merry Gear Solid games
  • A custom "holiday pack" edition of 8-BITar Hero, which mixes the Rock Band experience with old-school Nintendo games
Other highlights from the event, which takes place this Saturday night from 7:00 to 10:00PM, include a playlist of 8-bit Christmas Tunes, hot cocoa, and cookies! You can RSVP for the event and find more information about it at Facebook.
