Ahead of Glee's season 2 premiere tomorrow, TheStation and Levi "Doctor Octoroc" Buffum (famous for his 8-bit renditions of Keyboard Cat and Dr. Horrible) posted this NES-style version of the musical show with pixel character portraits, chiptune version of Les Miserables' "On My Own" and other songs, and even an interactive component.

The game-like video (click on the linked choices when prompted) recreates a lot of key Glee elements: Sue's confrontational, in-your-face conversations with her rival Will, Rachel's annoying way of dancing around while singing (which I guess is the case with everyone in the show), a Vanilla Ice performance, and more.

This production pretty much summarizes the first season as an 8-bit adventure -- I'm sure Glee fans (and absolutely not the blogger writing this post, who likely revealed his secret shame through his ability to recall far too many particulars from the show) are hoping to see Doctor Octoroc and TheStation produce more installments/sequels for the next season(s)!
