Ben Heckendorn, known for his elaborate mods of video game consoles that often shrink the giant beasts into a portable form, has launched a bi-weekly online show about his electronic creations with Element 14.

As part of The Ben Heck Show, the modder will tackle a new project each week requested by his viewers and progress through a bigger multi-episode project, like the Xbox 360 laptop featured in this inaugural program.

The viewer challenge this time around is a compassionate project to help a gamer who has lost the use of his right arm in a hit-and-run accident, and would like a one-handed controller to continue playing his Xbox 360 (especially Madden) with.

If you'd like to put in a request for future episodes, you can join The Ben Heck Show community at Element 14's site -- you can also register to win the custom Xbox 360 laptop there.
