Konami Releases Castlevania Puzzle: Encore of the Night

Only slightly more strange than Castlevania Judgment, the vampire killing franchise's App Store release, Castlevania Puzzle: Encore of the Night, transforms PS1 classic Symphony of the Night into an action game/puzzle hybrid, replacing traditional combat with gem matching.
In the game, players take on the role of Alucard and explore Dracula's castle, which is filled with backgrounds, enemies, and music from Symphony of the Night (somewhat remixed and tooled around with) -- though you can also load songs from your own music library while playing.
As you encounter enemies and bosses, the game switches to puzzle mode; it's an interesting twist, but Encore of the Night addictive qualities are in leveling up your character and customizing stats, equipping weapons and armor you find along the way, collecting items that you can bring into battle, and learning five types of magic.
The game promises more than 20 hours of gameplay in its Story Mode, over 20 "honors" to earn, the ability to share achievements with friends on Facebook, and more. You can download Castlevania Puzzle: Encore of the Night now for iPhone or iPod Touch for $4.99.

This looks great; I personally just wish (as an iPod resister) it was available for other formats than iPhone/Touch. I know the "i"s have a huge userbase, it would just be great to see as a DSi ware or something too imho.
