[In the latest of an occasional series of demoscene-related posts on GameSetWatch, AteBit's Paul 'EvilPaul' Grenfell points out an insane new ZX Spectrum-related technical milestone from the scene.]

Will the demoscene ever stop doing crazy new things with old hardware? Probably not, and this latest effort from Matt 'Gasman' Westcott certainly fits the description of "crazy".

Matt has taken a divIDE compact flash memory interface, connected it to his Spectrum and used it to play streaming video. At 25 frames per second. With audio. He's even provided full source and a technical explanation on the project site. What a nice man!
