After almost four years of work on the project, Peter Hanratty and his team have released their remake to classic isometric adventure game Knight Lore, originally released for the ZX Spectrum in 1984 by Tim and Chris Stamper (who went on to found Rare).

In the game, you take on the role of Sabreman as he jumps around and explores Knight Lore castle, seeking out the ingredients for a magic potion that will reverse the curse that periodically turns him into a werewolf, or "werewulf" as the game calls it.

As you can see in these screenshots, Hanratty and his crew completely overhauled the visuals for the game while keeping faithful to the original. The new graphics and lighting look great! You can download the remake to play for free on your PC at retrogaming site Retrospec.
