Gamers in the UK, make sure your weekend's cleared for November 6-7 for R3PLAY, the Computing & Gaming Events Union's (CGEU) arcade/retro/video gaming expo coming to the Norbreck Castle Exhibition Centre in Blackpool with more than 300 different consoles, coin-ops, and computers from all over the globe, all set to free-play.

Presented in association with Retro Gamer and GamesTM magazines, the event will be hosted by UK TV personality/video game fan Gail Porter. Along with popular and obscure consoles from the 1970s to present day, R3PLAY will also have prize gaming competitions, Q&A sessions with guest speakers, workshops, galleries of video game artwork, raffle prizes, an auction, and more.

Though the event is still six months away, CGEU is already selling advance one-day and weekend tickets. The organization expects to sell all its tickets in advance and will be raising funds at the show for Macmillan Cancer Support and The National Museum of Computing at Bletchley Park. You can buy your tickets and learn more about R3Play here.
