Levi "Doctor Octoroc" Buffum (8-Bit Keyboard Cat, After These Messages) has released Act 1 of his latest work, a video game-style interpretation of musical comedy Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog with 8-Bit music and graphics.

Doctor Octoroc says he didn't have the coding skill and time to create the 8-bit video game he envisioned for Dr. Horrible, so he decided to create a video of the hypothetical game, with its presentation taking elements from RPGs like Final Fantasy and Earthbound, and also using cutscenes for key dialogue portions.
