A TAP file for Vinnie Vole's Existential Nightmare, a Spectrum game you'll find no mention of in any video game archive in this dimension (references to its developer Soren Micros are also nonexistent), mysteriously appeared on Llamasoft's YakYak.org forums with this explanation/warning:

"I was sold this tape from a mysterious wizened Scouse market seller earlier this month (For 50p). After I bought the tape and turned away, I thought I heard him laughing a drawn out, gasping laugh that made me shiver. When I turned around, him and his stall had disappeared, and I was left standing alone. It is reproduced here at great personal risk."

Of course, regular GameSetWatch readers (who I'm sure we can all agree are the most handsome and intelligent readers on the internet) will remember Vinnie Vole's Existential Nightmare for its hilarious and terrifying appearance in BBC Comedy show Ashen's Tech Dump.

The playable TAP is available for the Spectrum 48k, 128k, +2, and +2a emulators. Play at your own risk! What other game greets you with a message that your actions have damned the hero?
