Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Character Artwork

Konami announced yesterday that Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, its remake of the original Silent Hill game, will release for Wii on December 8th (PS2 and PSP editions following after) in the U.S., which was welcome news considering many assumed it was delayed to 2010 like the European version.

Even more welcome was this collection of beautiful character art the company released for the game. They aren't frightening like you'd expect from a survival horror game -- though Harry's daughter Cheryl does have a sort of creepy expression while sitting on that swing -- but they show the weariness and unease that all of the town's inhabitants seem to suffer from.
