Masaya Matsuura Croons 'Unforgettable', Shows New iPhone Game

As an encore to his keynote at the GameCity Squared festival last Friday, rhythm game pioneer Masaya Matsuura sang this futuristic, outer space rendition of Nat King Cole's "Unforgettable". I imagine every attendee in the room couldn't help but smile with this surprise song, swaying back and forth, arm in arm. According to GameCity organizers, Matsuura's performance "pretty much capture[d] the spirit of the event".

The PaRappa the Rapper creator was at the event to talk about his music game work, the latest of which is WINta, a rhythm action title for the iPhone -- it also seems to employ the same digital voice effect Matsuura used for his "Unforgettable" vocals. I haven't seen any details on its release, but you can watch a short preview of an alpha build that was shown at GameCity below:

This is all fine and dandy, but when the hell is someone going to do an Elite Beat Agent (or clone) on the iPhone?
