DigiPen Team Releases Igneous

Built for those gamers who relish the thrill of escaping a self-destructing stage, explosions at their heels, Igneous is an anxiety-platformer starring a tiki totem scurrying like hell to escape a rupturing volcano. As you dash through caverns and bridges, the levels crumble underneath you, stone pillars tumble around you, and glowing rocks crash in front of you.

Going Down In Flames, a team of four DigiPen Institute of Technology seniors, spent 16 months developing Igneous from scratch (other than using FMOD to create the sound engine) before finally releasing it to PC yesterday. You can download the completed, four-stage PC game for free here.

Just FYI, the website does not have the latest build. We're waiting for DigiPen to get a download up before linking to it on our official site. But if you go to the destructoid link you will find a sketchy megaupload link to the final build.

Enjoy =D

Scratch that last comment! We did switch the download over haha my fault for not checking ;)

Looks exhilarating.
