Why Mario Wears A Hat Before Going To Work: Wild Wind

Beyond the clip's obvious pixel presentation and chip soundtrack/sound effects, there's something about "Wild Wind"'s presentation that recalls old LucasArts adventure games. Even with the goofy, predictable gag, the sleepy star of this short is fun to watch.

Argentinian Leo Campasso, an animator at HookUp Animation, created this video as an experiment combining "pixel-style characters with traditional cartoon animation principles", according to Cartoon Brew. You can download a higher resolution version of Campasso's "Wild Wind" here.
