Sega Reveals Tetris: TGM 4, Giant Tetris For Arcades

You've likely seen this expert footage of Tetris: The Grand Master 3, a cursed arcade edition of the popular puzzle franchise that sends blocks rushing down your screen at insane speeds before turning the pieces invisible as the game's credits leisurely scroll by.

Sega is planning to bring out a new addition to the series, Tetris: The Grandmaster 4 The Masters of Round, at Japan's JAMMA AM show next week, according to a report from Arcade Heroes. The company hasn't revealed details on any new features or changes in the game, but it did put out these two small screens -- love the backgrounds.

Also in the works at Sega and spotted by Arcade Heroes, this giant Tetris machine:

Oh, and if you haven't yet, make sure to read yesterday's big feature at Gamasutra, "The Man Who Won Tetris", about Tetris licensor Henk Rogers and his thoughts on "preserving the human race, terraforming Mars, and the fascinating story behind the past and future of Tetris."
