Let's Tap: Now A Game Even iPhone Owners Can Play

Let's Tap, the Wii minigame collection with controls so simple that "even penguins can play", according to developer Prope, will soon hit the iPhone and iPod Touch, each minigame released individually.

Like the console version, these portable ports don't require players to actually touch the controls; instead, the games use the system's built-in accelerometer to detect the player's taps on a nearby flat surface for their controls.

Prope has already posted Tap Runner to the App Store, and plans to put out the rest of the Wii minigames -- Silent Blocks, Bubble Voyager, and Rhythm Tap -- in the coming weeks. One of Let's Tap's visualizers, Gem Game, will also see a standalone release.

You can find more information and videos on the individual minigames at the company's iPrope site.

I got an advice for Yuji Naka: get the hell out of Prope, stop making silly games where people need to tap on cardboard boxes and go teach Sega how to make a decent 2D Sonic.
