Words Without Faces: Final Fantasy Quote Posters
August 24, 2009 2:00 PM | Eric Caoili

Artists John Hughes and Laura Swift are working on a series of 16"x20" posters featuring memorable quotes from the Final Fantasy games, like Black Mage Vivi Ornitier's words above from Final Fantasy IX.
I really like how the accompanying art for each piece, even without showing the faces of the quote authors, still gives you an idea of the characters behind the citations by featuring distinct pieces from their wardrobes, like a pointy brown cap or a red scarf.
You can see more quotes/art from the poster set below. I'm not sure if Hughes and Swift plan to eventually sell these, but I'll keep you updated if they announce anything!

So nothing from the good games?
Also, Vivi's quote has to be one of the worst in video games. It's basically what every 13-year-old that wants to sound philosophical and deep uses.
