While you wait for Titan Studios to release its patch addressing Fat Princess's severe lag and connection issues, the developer has put out something else to help you enjoy the game currently available -- a collection of strategies for the multiplayer PS3 game.

While this official batch of tips isn't robust enough to qualify for its own GameFAQs listing, Titan plans to regularly add more intentionally designed strategies and community tactics (ideas emerging from live gameplay that the studio "never imagined").

The "newcomer's guide" also serves as a good primer to the team-based game, offering obvious but effective tips like avoiding choke points and searching for alternative entrances to your opponents' castle. Follow some of the listed tips, and perhaps you won't end up wandering around the maps clueless and wasting a valuable player slot, and instead contribute to the effort, that effort being transporting an overfed princess to your castle.
