Finland hosted Assembly Summer 2009 two weekends ago, a four-day digital culture festival bringing together thousands of gamers, programmers, and other computer enthusiasts. Though the event is already past and won't return until Winter 2010, you can download and watch videos from many of Assembly's sessions for free.
The selection of posted sessions include indie notables Erik Svedäng on "The Creation of Blueberry Garden" and Eskil Steenberg on "Developing the technology behind Love", as well as developers from companies like Unity Technologies and Windows Mobile.
Prolific indie game designer Jonatan "Cactus" Söderström also gave a talk on "Rapid Game Design", while Crayon Physics Deluxe developer Petri Purho delivered a "Mystery Seminar", but videos for those aren't available yet. Perhaps Assembly's organizers will will upload the rest in the near future?
You can find more information on Assembly and see the full list of Summer sessions here.

Thanks for the post! We recommend that you watch the videos on Vimeo:

The link provided in the original post gives you the downloadable videos, in case you want an archive copy.
ASSEMBLY is volunteer organized and after the very exhausting event is over, the momentum naturally slows down. I can't promise we'll get the rest of the videos up, but we'll try.
